A few annoyances from VLAN

Postby adaykin » 20 Dec 2008 07:32

Hello, I am on vista home premium, and I have experienced a few small bugs in VLAN.

1. When I start up a video there is no picture until I pause the video. After I have paused the video and then press play, I can see picture.

2. On full screen mode I used to be able to see the menu when I moved the mouse, (e.g. the pause button, stop, etc.) and now I can't see the menu when I move the mouse. I'm not sure what changed, but it's not working now.

3. When I click the help->check for updates button, I get a message at the top of the popup dialog saying: "An error occured while checking for updates"

Hello adaykin,

as you can see, nobody actually is interested in answering your questions. That either means that nobody can reproduce the error (at least I can't reproduce the errors you mentioned in 1. and 2.) or that the problem does not have any importance for the developers (that applies for 3.).

The error while checking for updates I encountered already in version 0.9.7 but as you can see, it will not be fixed. So the only thing you can do is regularly check the VideoLan website for newer versions.

Kind regards,

1. is fixed in 1.0

2. Reset preferences and cache.

3. We are working on it.
