Hi VLC_help!
I used port 8080 but VLC don't run http interface.
I configured Host address: localhost:8080, Source directory: C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\http and after choose menu View / Add Interface / Web Interface. Open IE and type in address bar: http://localhost:8080 but I receives result "The page cannot be displayed".

I think, may be it is winsock issue. Please, run vlc with -vvv --extraintf=logger
and show us vlc-log.txt

Please, run with the Logger, choose web interface, try to connect to, exit and show vlc-log.txt
