Converting of copy protected DVD in 0.9.x

I had/have no problems in converting my copy protected DVDs on 0.8.7
But on 0.9.6 it doesn't work. I can play the copy protected DVDs, but can't convert.
It doesn't matter it's on Linux or Windows...
Is it a bug or a feature?
