recording video and subtitles separately

Postby gambic » 27 Nov 2008 20:00

Hello,

I'm using Vlc to record digital tv programs (rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/...), which I then demux with ProjectX to get the subtitles as separate files (srt or txt).

Wouldn't it be possible to do that all in vlc ? recording subtitle stream and video stream separately ? It would be cool...

Thanks in advance for your ideas
