Video-Clone-Output on DISPLAY2 with a rotate of 180

Postby MR180 » 05 Nov 2008 20:45

Hello...

i was searching at all my Forums, where i am registered, no one could help me 100%.

My problem is my Video-Beamer.

My Video-Beamer is a very old one, but it works.
Its the "Sharp 320P XV".
Ab Big problem with this old-beamer is, that he did not have such a good software.
On of the biggest is, he has no "Keystone" settings.
(Picture to understand this better: Image
I cant put the beamer "over me"/"over my head" (sorry my bad englisch, i hope you know what i meaning)!

But because the beamer is to load, i had install him now "over me"/"over my head".

Acctually i Rotate the Videoputput and put the videooutput window to my secent display (\\.\DISPLAY2).
That is okay, but i think i can do more with the VLC media player.

What i wish todo for the future is, to make a clone of my videooutput, rotate this clone ouput and let vlc play this clone om my Display2.

I think VLC could do this, but i dont know how.

Could the VLC Community Help me!?

Greetings from Hamburg/Germany, MR180

I don't think you can rotate only one clone on the two.

But you can open two different VLC instances and sync them to playback at the same time :D

oh sadly :(

But is it perhaps possible to load vlc with specified setting.

For example:
vlc.exe /setings:C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator\vlcsettings\beamer.stl
or
vlc.exe /setings:C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator\vlcsettings\monitor.stl
or
vlc.exe /setings:C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator\vlcsettings\music.stl

That could help me also....

You can force different settings to different VLC instances via command-line parameters.
