VLC 0.9.4 stops streaming after a few seconds

I have a broadband connection that's pretty fast. I recently tried using VLC 9.4 to stream. My problem is, whenever I open an mms address to stream (i tried mms://stream.gundam.eu/tbs), the stream stops after a few seconds. I read that others with .8+ versions of vlc on their pcs didn't have any problems with the same address. Is this a problem of the new release? thanks

Having the same problem: after installing VLC 0.9.4 the stream http://mp3.streampower.be/donna-mid stop playing after 4-5 secs. The same stream plays flawless on the same machine with version 0.8.4i.


Any suggestions ?
