VLC 0.9.2: Problems playing multiple video files - Part 2

Postby mik » 26 Sep 2008 15:23

Hi,

The thread
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=50302
did not treat one of my questions and created a new one.

Therefore I start a new thread on these issues:

1) QT4 problem: I have problems in picking multiple files in the correct order in the open file dialogue of QT4 of 0.9.2. I use Ctrl + right mouse click to select several files. However, the sequence in which they are listed (and then played) is somehow unpredictable (not in the sequence in which I click, not in alphabetical order). Any hint how I can get them in the sequence that I want. (Under 0.8.6i, it was also not straight forwards but I somehow managed by clicking in reverse order).

2) Is it possible to install two different versions of VLC in parallel (in particular 0.8.6i and 0.9.2)?

Thanks

1. Should hopefully work better in 0.9.3, because it has Win32 native file open dialog.

2. Yes/No. You can have multiple VLCs in you computer. But current installer only associates stuff to only one VLC. But you can start different VLCs manually. (or use .zip/.7z packets)
