cannot play any video [SOLVED]

hi,

i installed new VLC (VLC media player 0.9.0-test3) from repozitary (distro Gentoo x86). if i want to play any movie i cannot see any video but sound work fine.

in setup i tryed set X11, OpenGL output but without success. if i make downgrade to version 0.8.6i video works fine.

can somebody help me?

Hi,
You can try to run VLC without caches : "--no-plugins-cache" parameter. If if works, use "--reset-plugins-cache".
You can also try to ignore config file and use default values ("--ignore-config"), then "--reset-config" if it works

Easier if you have no custom preferences :
