I have tried 8.6 d e f I and I have had on/off problems to get them to stream to my older classroom computers - It seems like 8.5 works as the streaming one - The others work on the client. If it start with 8.5 and then I leave VLC open on the client, then 8.6i works but if I close it on the client then open it - audio but no video - not even black - I have checked all video, output, stream, sout settings and they are the same on both.
I have looked on the site, but I don't see where I can download any archives. thanks for the help.
Where can I get 8.5 archive-only one to stream to classroom
