Plugin configuration

I just installed the windows version 0.7.2, but the "plugins" menu in the preferences has vanished. Tried installation with the installer, same problem. What gives??

The "advanced options" box is selected, but nothing is added to menu

Try the new 0.8 test2, and, more important, delete your existing vlcrc file.

In Windows, vlcrc is located at c:\documents and settings\your_username\applications\vlc
