step around the video by keyframes

I would like it if I could step around the video keyframe by keyframe while paused and have the picture update. Also if I would be able to do jumps and have the picture update while the video is paused would be nice as well. Is this feature possible?

CloudStalker doesn't think it's possible at the moment, keyframes. VLC doesn't really function like other media players because it was meant to be more of a streaming solution, but CloudStalker hasn't lost hope that one day....
