Postby saurav_kalia » 30 May 2008 21:24

Hi,

I am new to vlc player. I want to execute vlc through command line. I know how to play a movie through command line but i want to pause, Stop, rewind, forward and quit that instance through command line. when I try to do this then a new instance of the vlc player is opened. Pleas help me if any one know this. it very important.

I'm having the same problem. The VLC creates a new instance for every line command. How can I use VLC with only one instance? Thank you.
