Video Not Pausing: plug-in and player: VLC Bug??

I just downloaded a new copy of VNC and embedded the plug-in a web page. After viewing with Safari it wasn't responding to the playPause() command. So I tried the VLC player stand-alone on the Mac... same problem, no pause. So I tried it on an XP box stand-alone and still it's not pausing.

These videos are working fine with WMP on IE and Firefox in Windows and Flip4Mac on the Mac. Any idea what's happening here? Here is one of the links:
