Hello
I have been playing around with VLC as a decoder for some time and it's pretty cool. I am now trying to do some streaming and I have gotten several types (wmv and mjpeg) to work with the GUI. What I am having difficulty on streaming is any video file (flv, mpg...) and stream it as a MP4V -ES with a payload type of 96. I have tried several ways with the GUI and the payload type always ends of being either 32 or 33 depending on how what I set for encoding codec. I have search Google and the forums here and I see several people streaming this payload format and using vlc with SAP/SDP as a decoder, but no where do I see the command line to stream this payload type. I also noticed in the GUI that when you click the RTP (which is what I want) and or UDP, the choices below for encapsulation and SAP) can change as to whether they are enabled or not.
So my question is,is it possible to stream MP4V -ES with a playload type of 96 and if so what GUI options or command line options do I need to set.
Thank you for your help in advance.
