stream raw TS via RTP?

Postby Jeff_DML » 16 Feb 2008 01:07

Hi,

Can VLC Stream raw valid MPEG2 TS via RTP? According to below it should
This option allows to set the encapsulation method used to send the stream. See mux= options of the standard module for a description of the available method. Only ts and raw (no encpasulation) are possible values for RTP streams. Default is RAW.

But when I try mux=raw, vlc crashes. If try the default it does TS not raw . Below person has the same problem.

TS over RTP is done with mux=ts. Raw RTP means RTP itself is used as the multiplexer.
