Postby thebat » 21 Jan 2008 09:58

Hi !
I'm using Windows XP on EEE PC and I miss multiple desktop from Linux :)

So, I'm trying to launch VLC in the systray (to gain some space in taskbar) :

Code: Select all

"C:\Progam Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --wx-systray --wx-no-taskbar
It works ! but I lose my skin... and I want use my brand new skins2 :)
Have you any solution ?

Thanks.

ps: sorry for my rusted english

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

I may be wrong but don't the skins2 interface need to support this first? Even in the Preferences the system tray options for the wxWidget and the skins interface are different.

And you can get virtual desktops to Windows also.

Virtual Desktop Manager, there are also other software for the job.

You can use this instead:

Code: Select all

--skins2-systray --no-skins2-taskbar
