Shn or Shorten

Postby brettdanis » 20 Dec 2007 03:23

At least for the mac os it would be great if vlc supported shn format.. for the audio people out there that trade shows there is still a large demand for this format for the older bands like the grateful dead.. to listen to them now in the present time the shows are still recorded and traded using the older shn format instead of flac. If vlc was to do this along with its flac support i could see it being very beneficial to many people(and possibly bringing in more contributions). i am not sure of the availablity of shn players for windows but mac does not have any that i know of or can find and i doubt they have the friendly user approach of vlc if there is one i can't find.. there used to be one called pure music audio player but i can only find dead links to it. Am i the only one that feels this way?

Shorten doesn't work in VLC, this is a known bug, but we don't know yet how to fix.
