Snapshot problem and UI request

Postby lstiefe74 » 10 Nov 2007 19:40

Love VLC but have some problems noticed on Win XP pro. When the snapshot of a particular scene is taken, the size is always following that of the original video, regardles of the setting in the "settings" menu. :(
The snapshot file format for naming stays with sequential numbers (serialized). When activating the (use sequential time stamps) the setting is ignored. No difference between the two- both com out 'vlcsnap-291156.png (jpg)
Is there something I'm overlooking.

I would like to see a streamlined UI that appears similar to a toolbar/menubar acroos the whole top of the screen.

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

Yeah unfortunately you're not able to take a snapshot of anything but the original video size using VLC, you could try an alternate snapshot or capture program to accomplish this.
