VLC for Windows NT 4.0

Postby kempffc » 21 Aug 2004 15:18

I''d like to use VLC with Windows NT4.0 for workgroups but after installation I can't seem to get it to play, only a momentary flash and then it drops off.
Is there anywhere on this site that deals with setups for NT 4.0, or would any of the contributors know if it is possible to set up VLC for NT ?
thanks for any help. :)

There's always the basic things --
make sure you have the latest NT service packs/updates.
make sure you have the latest graphics drivers for your PC's video

You might want to look in \documents and settings\your_username\applications\vlc -- if there's something there, a file called vlcrc, delete it
