Streaming using VLC from a Darwin Streaming Server

Hello,

Iam using VLC to stream videos residing on a Darwin Streaming Server. I use

vlc rtsp://server.com/file.mp4 for getting the stream. Iam able to stream the sample files that Darwin Streaming Server has but I get a RTSP DESCRIBE reply 404 Not Found for other video files (yes they are hinted)!

Any suggestions ?

Verify that the files to be streamed are actually readable for the streaming server's user (in doubt, give everyone (owner/group/others) read permission).
