Streaming from a web cam

Hi all,

I'm trying to stream images from a webcam over a simple HTTP connection but I can't play the image in the client.

I've succed when streaming a mpg file with the same configuration (so there's no problem in the network), but I don't know why the webcam is not received in the client. The problem is neither in the server because I've been able to play the webcam locally on it.

I'm using Ubuntu 6.10 with VLC 0.8.6 both in server and client machines

Any help will be really apreciated
