getting a windows media player stream site to recognize VLC

Postby jiblet » 04 Mar 2007 04:17

Hey Forum,

Am I missing something about getting a radio site to recognize my VLC if the site insists I download the boosey Windows Media Player 11?

My radio site is:

http://www.1077thelake.com/

(Good tunes)

But I can't find their URL to enter into VLC (and bypass using Windows Media Player)

And exactly where do I enter it into VLC?

I've tried entering it in more than one field before in VLC.

Thanks,

jiblet

it wants me to enter an email address so im not going to signup. but if it works like i assume it does, then the urls are hidden inside a playlist. you could open the playlist in videolan or open it in notepad to get the url to the real stream.
