How to fix Window Size?

Postby BigMischa » 27 Feb 2007 16:44

hello, i have a question regarding to VLC version 0.8.6a:

how can i fix the window size of the playback window? everytime one videoclip is finished and another is opened, the window gets bigger or smaller. which setting do i have to make, to get the window size fixed and videos are streched or shrinked to this size?

it works if i use full screen playback. when using full screen playback, every video is stretched to the screen size, no matter whats the original resolution.

please help me!

sorry for my bad englisch, i'm from germany.

thanks in advance

mischa

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

You could try to force the video height and width by going to: Preferences > Video (tick the “Advanced options” box). Scroll down to “Window properties” and set the resolution height and width there.

This will force the video's window size but I’m not to sure that it will scale the video to the window like it does in fullscreen.
