Images for Thumbnail View?

Postby AkaiOokami » 18 Dec 2006 07:47

Soooo, VLC has been great in running all my videos, however, is there some way to get thumbnail images for videos when browsing in thumbail view?

I would prefer to not have to install a codec pack just so I can see an image of the video before I click it...

You don't make the thumbnail that shows up in Explorer, Windows does through linking to the installed codec and the Windows DLL or some codecs provide there own DLL to link to. All file types don't display thumbnails. In fact most are moving away from it because it causes to many BSODs.
