VLC autopackage

Postby treepoll » 01 Nov 2006 14:07

Hi,

I would like to know whether you indend to build an autopackage for the next release of VLC.
More on autopackage here : http://autopackage.org/

I am using ubuntu Dapper and it's unlikly that the repository will be updated.

I have no experience of this packaging system but it seems simpler to install than recompiling whole the software.

Yep. I tried. It is a bit difficult because of the dependencies, but it is doable. I don't have time to do that.
