ActiveX control in Qt

Does anyone use VideoLAN's ActiveX control in Qt? I'm trying to play streaming video in Qt's GUI form by include the VideoLAN's ActiveX control in the form. When the form is executed, I can only see the VideoLAN's traffic cone logo and nothing else. I contacted Qt's tech support, they say that this is VideoLAN's issue.
