Firefox VLC & Vista Aero trouble

Postby Tithis » 11 Oct 2006 22:16

I'm using Windows Vista with the Glass Aero effect enabled. I've resolved the issue of Glass Aero being disabled in VLC but I just noticed that the VLC plugin for firefox has the same issue. Is there a way to resolve this?

Vista Version: RC1 5600
VLC Version: 0.8.5

best solution would be to not use the firefox plugin :)

Second best would be to try a 0.9.0 nightly build which has a new direct3D video output that might fix issues you have on vista.

Moreover, if you could test the nightly builds of 0.9.0 with VIsta, this would help us a lot. Set the output module on Direct3D !
