Save bookmark?!

Hi..

i think it would be a nice feature to save the bookmarks, so that after clode the Player the Movie can start easly direct from the position where the bookmark was set up.

I think a 'remember bookmarks' feature might be easily implemented.

They will already be saved if you save your current playlist (as an m3u file) in the playlist dialog.

But I agree, having a kind of automatic saving feature would be nice.... something like "last played item".

Gibalou, I tried your suggestion, but when I open a saved playlist (m3u) my bookmarks are still gone. When I don't close the player they work fine, but playlist saved or not, they're always gone after I close the player.

As a Mac user I find VLC a lot friendlier than Quicktime 7.0.4, which stutters. VLC would really profit from saveable bookmarks, also section repeat features.

Gibalou, I tried your suggestion, but when I open a saved playlist (m3u) my bookmarks are still gone. When I don't close the player they work fine, but playlist saved or not, they're always gone after I close the player.

You have to save the playlist after you have made a bookmark.
Then when you open your player again and open playlist and bookmark there you have the bookmark you made.
If you don't close the playlist or bookmark windows when you close your player they will reopens when you start your player, then when you opens your playlist your bookmark you made will be ther. So don't forget to save playlist after you have made your bookmark otherwise they will disappear when you close the player.

Another vote here for setting bookmarks, I understand there's a way to do it with a playlist but a simple bookmark would be great I think (start with the Mac first, and then make one for Windows).
