Time Stamp

Postby God of War » 29 Aug 2006 23:53

I would like the ability to type in a time stamp and have the DVD or video file skip straight there. Like tying in 13:56 would bring you to that point on the DVD movie.

Thanks

That feature was added in the GUI for the 0.8.5 release. In case you're on a Mac, double click on the time counters or go to Playback -> Jump To Time. This should be handled in a similar way in the Linux/Windows interface.

BTW. Although the current time is displayed in seconds at the moment, you may enter stuff in the xx:xx(:xx) syntax.

Well I have 0.8.5 for windows and your advice doesn't seem to work. Double clicking on the timer does nothing and I can not find any "playback" menu. Can you please advise?

Since I'm not on WIndows and no-one responds on IRC at the moment, look around for yourself a bit. I imagine that this feature is hidden in the playlist-windows menu, but that's only a guess. Perhaps someone else on the forum knows this precisely?
