OffSet Timeshift from the RTSP URL

How hard would be to implement offset feature, by reading the variable from the RTSP url request and jump to the specific time.

Such as;
rtsp://server:554/TestStream;offset=300
Skips the first 5 minutes of the VOD.

Or if you could tell me which .c file to work with I would really appreciate it.

cmert... did you ever get this figured out? Being able to start an RTSP stream from a certain position would be great for me.
