MKV Files

Postby gimpo » 05 May 2004 00:25

I was just wondering if vlc can run mkv files. I just learned about them. They are some kind of compression of a video file. Kind of like ogms. I recently got a copy of a mkv file and vlc will run it but there are no voices. You can hear music and other stuff like backround noise but no vioces. I'm not sure if it is because it is a bad file or vlc only runs a partial part of a mkv file. If anyone can offer any help it would be greatly appreciated.
