What kind of sync problem?
Perhaps I should have mentioned that the Extended GUI is using real filters and adds a bit of overhead. This is necessary to be able to put the filters in the transcode chain. So it's unlike other players that use DirectX for this function.
If it's audio sync and it's slight like a lipsync problem audio delay up ctrl k and audio delay down ctrl l should do the trick.
