Bug in 0.8.5 subtitles skips dialogues

Postby ilopeza » 13 Jun 2006 04:58

Hi, with the new version 0.8.5 VLC skips some dialogues... it's weird.
The main thing is some are shown, some aren't, it's like random.
with previous versions I never had the problem, uninstalled 0.8.5 and 0.8.4a runs just fine.

VLC for windows running on XP Pro

You have to select the correct encoding for your subtitles file:
Settings -> Preferences... -> Input / Codecs -> Other codecs -> Subtitles -> Subtitles text encoding.

See the forums for more details.
