White Line on bottom in fullscreen mode is driving me crazy

Postby Guest » 17 Apr 2004 14:30

Hi there,

i love the VLC player. It works great with MPEG2 streams. The only thing that is really bugging me is the White line that appears on the bottom of the screen when playing full/widescreen. This is causing serious burn on my Barco CRT projector. Right now i have to setup "blanking" in my projector to avoid CRT burn. Could you please remove it or make it customizable color? I'm sure most projector users are suffering from this problem and would highly appreciate the change.

I've never seen such a line. At least there isn't supposed to be such a line anywhere.

You didn't say which OS you were using ?
If windows, then could it be the taskbar that appears at the bottom of the scree n ?
In this case, I'm sure you can tweak windows to not display this.
