Streaming to address other than the requesting one

Postby guest123 » 05 Jun 2006 12:56

Hi,
I wanted to know whether it is possible to stream to a addrees other than the one which is sending the RTSP request..I mean suppose a client is sending RTSP requests to a aserver, can it specify somewhere an IP where the server will is supposed to stream the data?
How can the 'destination' header in Transport parameter in SETUP be used for this? Is it useful only for multicast address?
Thanks in advance,

It seems so.
I reference VLC source code.
destination only using at multicast ...

You can reference or modify source coce, then re-compiler ...
=> /home/kenneth/vlc-0.8.6h/modules/stream_out/rtp.c , rtsp.c
