vlc 0.85 saltea subtitulos

Cuando trato de visualizar los subtitulos de un video ogm, matroska o subtitulos cargados que esten aparte del fichero, vlc los muestra salteados, es decir muestra una línea y despues de un rato vuelve a mostrar otra y sigue asi hasta terminar el video. Con VLC 0.84a no ocurre nada de esto.
Trabajo con WinXP SP2 en permtium III y AMD 2800

Cambie su carácter que codifica a ISO8859-1 en las preferencias. (traducido por el babelfish)

Subtitles

When dealing with subtitles, these do not properly appear. In fact when you load a subtitle file, some of the subtitles ares displayed and others not, laking part of them.

In vlc 0.8.4 this did nit happen. Please help.

what about the brightness.. no matter how much i change the brightness
in vlc-0.8.5 it still too dark. anyideas. is there a new version of vlc ?
