Multiple WinTV-PVR-250 cards

Is it possible to stream from two or more video capture cards such as the WinTV-PVR-250 on a single PC ?
I want to know if it is possible to do that on Linux.

I am testing a solution now using WinPVR-350 boards, which rely upon the same video4linux driver that the 250 boards use. I've tried using multiple cards under Windows accessing via DirectShow, but have found that does not work due to DirectShow limitations.

My understanding of this same solution under Linux, as described in these forums, is that this is entirely possible. I'll post my results throughout testing.

What flavor of Linux do you plan to use?
