VLC doesn't associate with files correctly

Postby Rafa » 19 May 2006 03:11

Hi. I just installed VLC, associated it with all my .AVI files, but the files remain without any image of any aplication associated to them. VLC was supposed to put and icon image on every .AVI file on my computer as any other video player would do. Is there any way I can fix it?
This is an important thing because you need to know if a file is a video file, audio file, etc., without having to look at the extension of the file (like .avi, .wav, etc).

If this:
The VideoLAN Forums Forum Index -> VLC stream-output (sout)
is not the appropriate forum category, please tell me where it's because for me this is the right category.
