possibility to use it in any app ?

hi all , I would like to know if it should a big job to use the dll and make a little app that receive udp multicast and display it on a windows app ?

No it shouldn't be difficult, have a look at src/vlc.c which is a basic app which makes use of libvlc.

However bear in mind that vlc/libvlc are released under the GPL license so if you plan to redistribute your program, you will have to redistribute its source code as well.
