Can you stream a movie in vlc, with writing a command in the shell?

okay, okay, sorry, of course I know the streaming how to and I know how to stream.

Let me try it so:

this is the command of my stream:
:sout=#duplicate{dst=std{access=http,mux=ts,url=172.17.20.208:8080}}

and this is the file I want to stream:
"home\mlinek\eigene dateien\multimedia u. vlc vls\17 glu Dunkle Macht.wmv"

but when I only use my command in the shell, the server can't know which file to stream. So can i put the direction of my streaming file in the command?
I don't find anything about that in the streaming or advanced streaming- how-to

where:

video1.xyz is the file you want to stream,

192.168.0.42 is either:

the IP address of the machine you want to unicast to;

or the DNS name the machine you want to unicast to;

or a multicast IP address.

12 is the value of the TTL (Time To Live) of your IP packets (which means that the stream will be able to cross 11 routers).

If you want to stream the file continuously, add the --loop option.

no nothing works, really think about to change the streaming player, no support for vlc/vls in the forum, only sometimes (if you are lucky) some guys telling you about read the -how-to?!?
vls is so old, and nobody wants to support, and many versions of vlc don't work, don' stream, forget the options, forget vlc, try it by yourself and learn to do it with another player
