multiple node streaming

Hi,

I read the documentation about how to make VLC stream to multiple machines.
Is there a way to do this on the fly?
Like say, I'm a vlc client who's listening to a stream, and I decide to stream to another machine also during the course of the stream...How do I achieve that?

Is there a way to use some sort of config file to do this? Or can I start a vlc command in another process and give the address of the destination node? Will it affect the current stream that the client is receiving?
