Mouse as a black square on the screen

Hi all!

When I run the vlc in full screen mode, the black square appears where mouse is placed. If I move the mouse the black square remain in the screen and I need swithc from fullscreen and back to it to make it disappear.

Does anybody know how to avoit this behaviour?

I looked for parametr to turn off the mouse, but didn't find.

P.S. I run vlc under RedHat9 on EPIA-M

This happens to me on my laptop, but not on my desktop pc. I think it is because of how certain hw works.
