screen:// stream

Postby Scott JHU-ECE » 07 Feb 2006 17:06

I've been trying to make use of the screen capture/stream feature, to no avail. It does indeed capture the screen, but only refreshes on the receiving end (or partially refreshes - it's typically just assorted blocks that go through) every 5-10 seconds or so. I've tried playing with the Screen settings, the sout udp cache, and the MPEG-TS PCR delay; none has made any difference.

It does complain about the following:

access_output_udp warning: putting two PCRs at once
access_output_udp debug: late packet for udp input (1139356)
access_output_udp warning: putting two PCRs at once
access_output_udp warning: putting two PCRs at once
access_output_udp debug: packet has been sent too late (1139648)
access_output_udp debug: late packet for udp input (140110)
access_output_udp warning: putting two PCRs at once
access_output_udp warning: putting two PCRs at once
access_output_udp warning: putting two PCRs at once
access_output_udp debug: packet has been sent too late (140283)
access_output_udp debug: late packet for udp input (140245)
access_output_udp debug: packet has been sent too late (140428)
mux_ts debug: adjusting rate at 0/999778 (14/0)

As I said, playing with the sout udp cache or the PCR delay doesn't make a difference.

Any thoughts as to how to get this to flow a little more smoothly?

Much thanks,

Scott
