h264 and VOD...

Postby Guest » 02 Feb 2006 17:46

I have created an mpg file (from a DVD), encapsulating a h264 video stream and several mpga audio streams. This file plays fine locally, and also when streaming using multicast. However, when I setup a VOD channel, only the first audio stream is sent, and no video stream.

If I use an mp1v or mp2v stream in place of the h264 stream, the VOD server sends the video stream correctly.

1) Does the VOD server support h264?
2) Does the VOD server send more than one audio stream if option :sout-all is used?

new Demand vod enabled
setup Demand input "C:\h264-1024kps.mpg"
setup Demand option :sout-all
