Dolby Surround wrong channels?

Postby Frans » 15 Mar 2004 20:30

Hey all,

I'm using a Macintosh G4 dual 867Mhz, 1GB RAM with OS 10.3.2. I've just recently bought the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 soundcard (latest driver installed) and downloaded the newest VLC (0.7.1A). Now, when I watch a DVD with the AC-3 option (let's say Terminator 2), I have the feeling the channels are reserved or switched. The test signal is fine, so I've connected the card to the right speakers. In the AUDIO menu, I've choosen the Revolution 7.1 Analogue out.

I think it has something to do with VLC, possibly a bug. Has any of you encountered this problem?

I have this same problem, so does my buddy. I even submitted a bug report, but no answer to that either.
