streaming live from IP Camera

Postby tom1204 » 02 Feb 2006 10:53

Hello,

I want to get a video from my IP Camera to stream it live.
The problem is that VLC seems not wanting to read the video from my camera.
I succeed in trying from a file on a server but not with my camera.

The camera is a D-Link 5300W.
I think that the problem is coming from file extension because i can't find any reader which talks about this one.

Video is coming from this IP adress:
http://192.168.128.47/cgi-bin/video.vam

I can't read it, I can't do nothing with it.

Can you help me, please?

I'm afraid it looks like the video is in a strange format, from the website it looks like its another one of these ActiveX / Internet Explorer only bozos.
