Vlc freezing

Still having freezing issues while replaying recorded streams of my internet radio show which inclue both audio and video,These streams are ten recorded shows looping through the 24/7 schedule through OBS, at times it will work fine for several days, other times it will freez daily. I'm using WIN 10, on a hp 8300 elite SFF with 16 gig ram, 3.20 cpu, and a Radeon R7 240 GPU..I use Comcast as my ISP, with close to a gig download speed and over 20 megs up.This is all this pc does..nothing else is required from this machine. I've adjsuted several internal VLC settings according to various help sites, but nothing permanent has corrected the issue. I can stream my OTS turn tables media player software, as a window capture without any problems at all for days. So it seems the problems lie somewhere within the VLC software. I can watch watch movies or other streams with VLC without issues, just the replay of the recorded streams is the problem..Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks
