Forced Aspect Ratio Reversion

Postby GamersGGanbu » 25 Nov 2024 06:56

I have video files in the 4:3 aspect ratio, and in options I forced all videos to start in 16:9, and that works for the very first video in a playlist, but every subsequent video after that reverts to its original 4:3 state even tho when I right click on the video and select aspect ratio it is showing that 16:9 is still selected, clicking it then makes it 16:9 once more, again only until the next video plays. VLC is up to date, downloaded a fresh install for my new pc yesterday. please help, thank you.

Funny thing is, I cant remember if I had this same issue on my old computer or not lol, its not often I watch content recorded in 4:3, I dont think I did, I'm pretty sure I'd remember if I had that hassle and most probably would of reached out sooner.
