Command line term for "Water effect"

Postby Nshr27 » 18 Oct 2024 02:24

Running VLC 3.0.21 on pi zero 2w Rasbian bookworm 64bit OS latest version. I can get every other effect to work from the terminal with the exception of "Water effect".

anaglyph = Anaglyph 3D
mirror = Mirror
psychedelic = Psychedelic
wave = Waves
?????? = Water effect
motion = Motion effect

Any ideas on what term is needed to run this effect from the command line? I am using SSH to control videos on an old CRT monitor.

It is possible to use this effect as I can turn it on while running a desktop and using the gui. I need to be able to run this command from the cli to keep my CPU/ram usage down and the video running smoothly.

I'm fairly new to all of this, any help is appreciated. :D

example of terminal command using multiple effects:

Code: Select all

--video-filter=mirror:wave
