VLC Version 3.6.0 Beta 2 always on top broken

So just got the update on my S24 Ultra and when playing a video and going from the app to the menu or something else previously it would have the pop out mini player

Now it just plays audio in the background and isn't showing as if anything is playing in the notification bar

If you reselect the content the video comes back

I checked always on top permission is on and turned it off and back on and same thing

What setting do you have for "Background/PiP Mode" in the main page of the settings ?
Same question in Settings -> Videos, do you have the custom PiP popup enabled ?

I have

Play videos in mode Picture-in-picture

And

Use custom Picture-in-Picture popup turned on

We detected (and will fix) a bug on the custom PiP. You should disable it for now.
